2005-Nov-16, Wednesday 15:18I went out to storage early this morning. I took the Flagler Max and bought a transfer but ended up walking the rest of the way. That's the second time this week I wasted money on a bus transfer. I found the number for Nationwide almost immediately. Then, I found that I'd had it with me all along. I picked up my medications and Vitamin C but forgot to trim my fingernails. I got back to the library with another combination of walking and bus.
I called Nationwide and my stuff is still there. I don't know what the bill is yet or whether they can actually deliver to Mississippi.
The person with my car showed up and left before I got back, but at least left a new phone number. I called and he said he would be back in an hour. After waiting for two hours, I saw the car outside and him walking, so I got in line to sign out. But when I was outside, no sign of him or car. I was convinced I'd been hallucinating, until the security guard told me she'd seen him too.
I've started reading Lost in a Good Book by Jasper Fforde.
