* I started working on yet another conlang sketch yesterday. It will be isolating, except where morpheme combinations are hard to avoid, like pronoun base + number marking.

There are 5 short vowels and maybe 20 consonants. The word/morpheme types are CV, CVC, CVV, CVC.CV, and CVV.CV. VV represents the 15 diphthongs and long vowels. There may be an unwritten vowel after a coda consonant, depending on the consonant and what follows. For CVC, it's the same as the first vowel. For CVC.CV, it's the same as the last vowel (except if the one vowel is |a| and the other is |i| the added vowel is [e] and if the one vowel is |a| and the other is |u| the added vowel is [o]).

I'm working on lining up the various grammatical words and deciding which type of morpheme each has before assigning values. CV morphemes should have different vowels from those they combine with or occur next to in oreder to avoid encroaching on the CVC space.

I finally got to edit this.
