2010-Nov-12, Friday 01:21I finally got around to filling in the suffixes for the attributive forms of the verb (i.e. participles) and couldn't get anywhere. Finally I realized I didn't need any agreement suffixes, just the stems marked for aspect, since the secondary predicate forms take the switch-reference suffixes (also used on nouns). It's only when the noun is absent that one of the modifiers needs to be marked for animacy and number (and also taking the switch-reference suffix).
It's refreshing not to need the suffixes, especially given the fairly simple phonology (CV(C) syllables and only 3 vowels).
