qiihoskehI started reading The Last Rainbow by Parke Godwin a while back, but stopped to read Storyteller by Amy Thomson, which I stopped to read Treason Keep by Jennifer Fallon. I've now finished the last, which is a sequel to Medalon.
The past week was one of visits to doctor. Monday, I went to an optometrist and got new glasses, all free. Tuesday, the results of the CAT scan finally came in, so I saw the doctor in the clinic. It seems I have a kidney stone. I also had my psychiatrist appointment. I think it was also Tuesday that I hiked over to the Social Security office. I was going to visit the dental van parked at the HAC on Wednesday, but they were having equipment problems. I spent some time Thursday and Friday at the Miami Behavioral case workers office. I'm somewhat disappointed that my SSI won't be retroactive enough to cover all my debts. I visit Social Security again Monday afternoon and afterwards may find out about another housing program.
