2007-May-01, Tuesday 23:23* I had a breakthrough with PolyF and have been working on it.
Verb roots are *CVC. Aspects, except Perfective, which is unmarked, are marked with vowels infixed before the last consonant. I should note that any aspectuals such as Habitual are marked with *VC suffixes; the aspect vowel applies to the aspectual and not the root in this case. Moods, and the future indicative perfective, are marked with vowel suffixes, so the stem is now *CVVCV or *CVCVVCV.
There's some fusion of the alignment (direct or inverse) suffix with the first argument person and number suffix. Second and third arguments are marked with prefixes. There are also prefixes for interrogative, negative, and definite or absolute time references.
Now I have to work on nouns, adjectives, and derivation, among other things.
A possible sample word is: Zbojeqi. "They saw us."
