Stupid Plot Tricks

I looked at the Stupid Plot Tricks page by Teresa Nielsen Hayden at http://sff.net/paradise/plottricks.htm and found it very entertaining, but have no idea how one is supposed to get a plot out of it. I guess that proves that I'm not a writer.

Yep.
I suppose if one already had a plot, the list could be used as a checklist for estimating salability. That reminds me, when I read through the Turkey City Lexicon, I got the idea that it would be fun to write something that does as many of those bad techniques as can be put together, starting with the White Room, of course. Of course (again) I'm convinced that many of them aren't bad at all, just out of fashion.
